The music had ended. Guests chatted quietly, gathering into two lines at the entrance to Kelley Farm’s barn, waiting for Savanna and Will to make their grand exit. Everyone under the age of 10 was already nearly out of bubbles, but the adults held off.

The barn doors opened, and the newlyweds emerged, not running, but strolling together like they had all the time in the world to savor this moment. No one reached for their phones, too occupied with bubbles and the magic of the moment.  And so there we all were, present, together – slightly sweaty from 3 hours of dancing – in the cool night air. And then Will reached over and scooped his bride into the air, slowly spinning around, as bubbles drifted like snow.
