These two were totally up for an adventure, and I’m so glad. We had first planned to meet at a waterfall trail near North Bend for Megan + Laura’s engagement session, but when we arrived, a last-minute snowfall made the easy walking trail pretty miserable to traverse. Knowing that feeling comfortable in your setting is the most important factor in feeling comfortable in front of the camera, I suggested a change of plans and we hit the highway back towards Seattle and pulled off at Rattlesnake Lake.

Rattlesnake Ledge has become more and more popular over the years, which I absolutely understand. It’s a dream location for this Seattle Wedding Photographer – the calm lake, with a majestic evergreen slope in the background, the particular shades of green. I’m so glad we braved the cold for this session.
