These two are a true joy. Shelby and I met during college when we both were studying Ballet during our time in college in Indiana. She went on to become a professional ballerina, while I took a sharp left to pursue photography just after graduating. In the years since I watched with delight as Zach started to pop up on her Instagram, cheering her on as she landed a company position with Louisville Ballet. We met for this session at Discovery Park on a sweet spring day in March, in the midst of the first blossom of greenery. Their ease together and joyful spirit made for an incredibly fun engagement session. The ever-talented Hally of March Floral created a stunning white bouquet for the session and Shelby’s white dress is by Elizabeth Suzzann.
