A warm Saturday in August, I set out for Wellspring Spa, nestled in next to Mt Rainier, just outside of the park entrance. Wellspring is a true retreat (we used walkie talkies to stay in touch throughout the day because cell reception was sparse). Nicole and Eli shared an emotional first look, wanting to take some private moments together before the ceremony. They exchanged vows under the forest canopy in the incredible sunken sanctuary, with summer light streaming through the trees behind them.
I paused for the tiniest moment in between photos to let the scene take my breath away – they are some of my favorite ceremony images to date. Endlessly grateful for trusting couples and the talented vendors that created this effortless, natural day.
